Gloria was born in Monterrey, N.L. Gloria's family moved to Houston, TX in 1975. A year later, at Garland, TX, Gloria spent her elementary school years. She moved back to Mexico her 7th year of school and has lived there since.



Gloria started attending a Mexican Baptist Bible Fellowship church in 1988. Gloria remembers some one giving her a tract to read about Jesus Christ and it made her cry. At the invitation at the church one day, Gloria came forward, felt great, but no one really explained anything.

It was not until she met Phil and Lori Brown and heard their explanation of salvation that Gloria made her conscious decision to receive Christ as savior on November 26, 1991. She was baptized into the Iglesia Bautista de Monterrey on May 9, 1992.

After completing one full year of Music (8.5 GPA out of 10.0) at the "Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon", Gloria began working as missionary Phil Brown's secretary. It was during this time that Gloria met Scott and they were married on August 6, 1993.

Gloria is presently working on her degree (Lic.) in psychology at the Universidad Autonoma de Guerrero (UAG). She has completed her first year (2 semesters) with a GPA of 8.7.

Gloria is very active in personal discipleship (8 women weekly), teaches a Woman's Bible Study breakfast (Friday's) and in charge of the children's ministries (organization, teacher training, etc.)
