Satan throws a fit!

Just 2 weeks ago we had a shake in Mexico that marked 7.6 on the Richter scale.  You want to know why?  Satan was throwing a fit!  How do I know this?  Just read on.

Gift Day

We had a record attendance of 133!  We had 23 first time visitors that registered (more came, but didn’t fill out cards) and 11 of them received Christ as their Savior!

Goals Met

We had 3 major goals for the end of the year: (1) 130 or more for Gift Day; (2) 30 or more for the teen’s Christmas dinner; (3) 80 or more as average attendance.  All 3 goals were met!  So, as we had promised the church, Dany, Pablo, and I shaved our heads!  They were thrilled.

Gospel Preached

We held a banquet for all of the members of City Hall in our church as a way of honoring our authorities. We had several purposes: Get our name out; establish a good testimony in our community; preach the Gospel to the lost, honor our authorities; etc.  It was a total success!  We had the honor of having our Mayor attend and he was impressed. 23 of 37 members were there and clearly heard the Gospel.

Growing Church

I don’t ever remember being so busy as now.  I’ve been able to win several people to the Lord, including the brother of one of the members of City Hall.  The attendance in our church the last 3 weeks has been: 78, 80, and 86.  We praise God for His blessings!

IBAca closes strong

Our church in Acapulco closed the year off with a big bang!  They had their special Christmas program, that we call “Gift Day”, and their highest attendance to date.  Over 300 showed up to hear the Gospel message.  Several of the 150 first time visitors responded to that message.  We praise the Lord for such a huge victory! 

IBTeh starts strong

The new church in Tehuacán, Puebla started the year off with a bang of their own.  They held their very first Sunday service on Jan. 5 and had 61 in attendance!  They are already averaging 50 every week.  Praise the Lord!

Now can you see why Satan is throwing a fit?  Pray with us as we continue to try to shake the entire World with the Gospel...from Mexico!
